I find it would be beneficial to have the ability to send emails directly from Sintra. This feature would streamline my workflow by allowing me to manage communications without needing to switch between different applications.

Thanks for sharing this request!
We want to give an update and let you all know that currently Helpers can send emails on your behalf – they have this functionality.
You can ask Emmie or Vizzy to check your emails, write replies, and so on. 
We do not have mass-sending functionality like newsletters or dedicated clients, but aim to expand email functionality in the upcoming quarter. A more intuitive & accurate email-sending process is coming.

There are many platforms that use API's to gain approval to read and draft outgoing responses. It would be great to have that integrate with sintra. I use a few and love the way it frees up a ton of time.

But sending mail is not possible with all providers, e.g. I can't connect Exchange. It would be cool if there were more options here with which programs you can use to email, read, send, etc.

Sending emails or SMS directly sounds wonderful, but is unlikely to happen because of the legal liability of mass messaging from their domain or IP block, not because they cannot technically do it. A more prudent approach would be to integrate well with the major mass messaging platforms that already exist like MailChimp, Klaviyo, Omnisend, ect.
